When my brother was starting, I just told him to marathon WeldingTipsAndTricks & TheFabricationSeries on YouTube. Both very reliable. You'll know from bottom to top, so best allot some time ok? If you actually want to learn.

okay okay first off newbie, start with steel, go low amps for thin metal, high for thick, remember clean metal is key. Common mistakes people make are rushing, wrong torch angle, dirty base, dipping hot tungsten, your community is good, but YouTube's your friend honestly

TIG welding is seriously cool, good on ya for gettin' into it. Here's the lowdown, real quick: keep your area super clean, crank your amps to about one for every thousandth of an inch of metal you're workin' with, and get that tungsten pointy just right. Try not to dip the tungsten in the melty stuff, and hold your torch steady at around 15 degrees. Here are some quick TIG welding tips, use about 1 amp for every 0.001" of thickness, go with DCEN for steel and stainless, and use AC for aluminum. Make sure to clean your metal properly, keep your arc tight, and always keep the filler material in the gas.
