the best Plasma Cutter for beginner

I need some plasma cutter for cutting some metal sheets and maybe more. this is the first time I'm gonna buy one
I keep hearing the Hypertherm Powermax 30 is the gold standard for solid design and performance. Is that still the consensus, or is there a new king?

Also, quick question on used models, I'm worried about getting an older one that the manufacturer won't support with parts/consumables. Is there a brand out there that's awesome about keeping older machines running?

The XP or AIR versions add features like better efficiency or built in compressors. Miller and Lincoln also make good plasma cutters, but for longevity and support, Hypertherm is hard to beat really

If you don't have a large, reliable air compressor, the AIR models (with built in compressors) are great
They are completely portable and eliminate the massive hassle and expense of buying and maintaining a separate industrial compressor and air dryer. If you do have a good compressor, the standard XP gives you slightly better efficiency
