I recently got a brand new 200ac/dc miller welder, but I'm having an issue where it won't arc up when turned on. The high frequency start works, but there's no actual arc. The lcd meter shows no power, and I have the torch connected as the terminals should be, the switch is set to ac and tig mode. There's power because when I touch the workpiece, the hf jumps, but nothing is getting hot or melting. Any ideas what could be going wrong, or is it a fault with the machine? It's still kinda new,

That's a bummer! maybe you can check out the gas flow? is it turned on and flowing form the torch? if it's all good then yyeah, you might need to reach out to where you got this to help you troubleshoot this further

Hey, I get that the Miller 200AC/DC can be a pain sometimes. Make sure your torch is hooked up right and the gruond clamp is on clean metal. Check if your tungsten is sharp and clean too. Also, take another look at the machine settings to make sure it's set for the right mode (AC/TIG) and that the torch switch is working. If that doesn't solve it,there might be an issue with the machine,so it's a good idea to contact Miller support since it's still new
