I'm putting myself out there and plan to start welding, among other things I do myself, so I need a recommendation for a good welder. I'll most likely go for a used one and I haven't set a strict budget, but I don't plan on getting something that will cost a lot. I'm looking for something that will be of use to me in the future, so entry to mid range, if it makes sense

@DoItMyself Alright, diving into welding! For a good used entry to mid range welder that'll last, keep an eye out for Miller (Millermatic for MIG, Thunderbolt for Stick) or Lincoln (Power MIG, AC/DC 225 Stick), Check local online marketplaces (Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji) around you

I agree with the suggestion above on the MIG, you can get it from hobart a 210 or a 240 should stand by you for a good number of years. Just find the best deal there is online.

Hobart A210 is good. You're gonna be able to navigate easily. It's like a dog being tamed. It happens quickly and it's gonna stay loyal through the years!
