Need an adapter

A couple of weeks ago I got a powerark 140st and I don't plan on using it just for stick, but I plan to do some tig welding. I amanged to find most of the upragdes I'll need, the argon stuff, torch, you know the drill, but there's one thing missing for me at the moment. I can't find the everlast 140st tig hose adapter and I'm starting to wonder if something like that even exists or I just suck at finding these kinds of things

Yeah, that's because everlast didn't exactly make it easy. The 140st doesn't come tig ready out of the box, and the gas port situation is a bit of a joke. There is an adapter for routing gas through the torch, but everlast doesn't always list it clearly or keep it in stock so you might have to rig your own setup, use a torch with a valve and run gas straight from the regulator to the torch, bypassing the machine altogether. It's dumb, but it works or maybe call everlast and make them dig one up, far cry tho

Everlast might not sell the adapter separately, so try reaching out to them directly or check welding specific stores. If it's not available, look for a reliable universal adapter.

You're not alone with that adapter issue.The simplest solution is to use a short piece of 1/4 tubing to connect the torch hose to the regulator barb.Just heat it up, slide it on, and clamp it down.That should do the trick.If you want something neater consider a quick-connect fitting.I know some people have switched to a CK torch for better fittings too
