Got a few questions but i will focus on this one since im on a run 😅 Enough of that. just would like to know if i will use a BOC Migmate 130 to try out pulse welding trick, should i keep the gas while it cools?also my friend was using it, there were small holes underneath with no metal in it.what could have happened here? tnx everyone

The holes most probably are simply just a lack of gas at the back of the weld. Probably coz of too much penetration. For "pulse welding" its always best to keep the gas running continuously as this helps prevent oxidization and also cools the metal. Timing is very important when welding, after each weld leave the metal to cool down and it will shrink again to a certain extent, then start the next weld.

For pulse welding with the BOC migmate 130, keep the gas on while cooling to prevent contamination, the holes underneath could be from too high voltage or wire feed speed, or unstable torch movement, try to adjust the settings and torch angle for a better result
