Running a power MIG 210 that's about three years old with maybe 400 hours on it. For the past two weeks now, the wire feed has been doing this thing where it runs smooth for about 30 seconds, then hiccups for a second or two, then goes back to smooth, and it happens randomly whether I'm welding or just triggering the gun with no arc
Already replaced the liner and touched some major stuff, I even tried two different spools thinking maybe the first one had a manufacturing defect but same problem with both and the stuttering feed creates these ugly inconsistent beads that I end up grinding out and redoing. A dealer is two hours away and wants $150 just to look at it, before I load it up and make the trip, has anyone experienced intermittent wire feed like this?
