is C25 better to use than CO2?

New to welding and a friend mentioned that C25 makes stronger welds than CO2 in 100%..
curious if anyone here agrees and which one are you guys using?
 
I think it's just that C25 is better for MIG but if it's thick still, CO2 is better. Depends really on how you're gonna use it. The latter is for deeper penetration.
 
I'd still go for CO2 for most welding, unless you occasionally weld 24 gauge sheet. CO2 is generally cheaper and lasts longer for the same size bottle.
