Building a TIG Cooler

I’m planning to put together my own TIG cooler setup instead of buying a pre made unit, partly for the challenge and partly to save some cash. I’ve already got a pump lined up, but before I start cobbling things together, I want to make sure I’m not overlooking any critical components. What other parts could I end up needing beyond the pump? I know there’s the obvious stuff like a reservoir and fittings, but details like radiators, flow controls, filters, or any clever DIY solutions to male the system more reliable
 
@singin.welder you've got the pump and reservoir, which are the heart, but the biggest challenge is the radiator/heat exchanger.
don't skimp here. people often try to use tiny PC cooling radiators, but they struggle with the constant heat load of welding. you need a small transmission cooler (often available cheap from an auto parts store) or even a used A/C condenser from a junkyard. they have far more capacity
 
You’ve got the basics covered. I’d definitely add a small radiator with a fan to keep the water temp consistent, plus a simple inline filter to catch debris before it hits the torch

Add a flow indicator so you can spot blockages early and yh, quick connect fittings help make maintenance way easier. If you can, isolate the pump on rubber mounts to cut vibration too, and use coolant rated for mixed metal systems so corrosion doesn’t sneak up on you
