i used solder to put some parts together but now i need to weld them. I removed some of the residue but there's a few left. is it okay to leave it there or make squeaky clean? please help out this newbie

You don't need it to be squeaky clean, but it's best to remove as much as possible to avoid any contamination and make sure your surfaces are clean to

@weldingnoob3 It's best to remove as much solder residue as possible before welding bcs it can contaminate the weld pool
