Ali MIG welding experience

Just got my hands on an ALI MIG welder and finally gave aluminum a go, and wow, what a difference! yeah it took a bit to dial in the settings, but once I got the hang of the wire speed and torch angle, the beads started looking clean. Anyone else here running ALI MIGs for aluminum work? would love to hear what you've done with it, looking forward!

I've been using mine for light fab work and it's handled aluminum way better than I expected. Once you get the settings right, it runs so well. For your reference as well @SparksFly

I think tinkering with the setting sis worth it, considering the final product. With that aside, you making sure the area is clean? Wire brush and acetone should be your favorite tools before you pull out the welder.

Nice, aluminum is a whole different beast, but once it clicks, it's super satisfying. I've been running an ALI for a few months but mainly on intercooler piping and brackets.
