Which one has more value? I saw a post in this forum talking about if the black face Millermatic 35 is still worth anything because there are still listings around 1500 I think? But I just want to know what really is the value of each. The 35S and the 35 I mean. I know that the 35 is the newer one but isn't the S more complete? I'm thinking of doing converting etc. modification also. But I can only pick from one because my budget is just like $700 or something. Which Miller is more sustainable to keep in the long run? What's it really cost?

I've seen the black face millermatic 35s go for around $1500. The 35S is more complete, but the 35 is newer. With your $700 budget, it'll be tough to get either in great condition. The newer 35 might last longer, but it depends on what you plan to modify. It all comes down to what you're getting for the price eventually
