Has anyone tried out the Miller ShopMaster 300 AC/DC? I'd love to hear how it performs. I found one for around $780 and I'd really appreciate any thoughts before I make a decision

i think this is just the power source and not attachments to it. If that's the case, this is quite pricey

The Miller ShopMaster 300 AC/DC is okay for the price and I can bet that it's reliable with good performance for general welding, so for $780, it's a great deal but check for any wear first

Yeah, I've used shopmaster 300 a couple times. It's an old school workhorse, good build, handles stick and TIG without much fuss. Bit bulky by today's standards though and $780 is actually not bad if it runs well and comes with extras.
