Experiences with the Weld Pak HD?

I've been eyeing the Weld Pak HD for some home projects and small repairs, and I'm curious what the community thinks. It seems like a solid, compact option, coz it runs on 115V, uses flux cored wire, and is portable enough for a garage or backyard setup. I like the idea of being able to tackle light steel work without investing in a huge rig.
But begs the question, is it worth it?, is it durable and reliable as they say?
I'm kinda like a beginner so it would hurt to make an investment that wont serve

The Weld Pak HD is a decent little machine for what it is. For small-scale projects around the house like repairing a mower deck, making a quick shelf, or fixing a fence gate, it's perfect. The 115V makes it super convenient since you can plug it in pretty much anywhere. So i's definitely a good entry point without a big investment! It's a Lincoln, so durability-wise, it's built to take a beating! Don't expect to run it all day on thick plate, but for the duty cycle it's rated for, it holds up just fine. Keep it clean, don't drop it, and it'll serve you well for years! The biggest thing for a beginner is learning to dial in your wire speed and voltage, but with a little practice, you'll be laying down decent beads in no time. For light steel work, you'll be set. Just grab a good helmet and some gloves and you're good to go!

For a beginner doing light work, it'll do what you need, 115V is convenient but it will limit your thickness capacity but what's your budget looking like anyway
